The Moreton Bay Figtree has been completely “debranched”. This is how it looks now. The area is a lot brighter without the shade of its branches. What would you say it looks like now? Can you use a simile?

Yes, I agree with James. It is very sad to see such an old tree with so much history be chopped down, but at the end of the day the safety of those around it is of the utmost importance.
Yes, that is quite true. What matters most is that people are quite safe.
