Jen’s 100wc #23

“No way, I’m not giving the cat a bath. Remember last time!” I shouted to mum.

Mum loves her cat but she never takes care of it. I really want a dog so I thought if I took care of Mr Snuggles I could persuade mum to get me one.

But last time I gave the cat a bath, it knocked down the orange scented washing powder all over me.

“He’s a mysterious spy cat whose mission is to drench you with washing powder” she laughed.

 “We’re separated now!” I snapped.

  1. Well done Jen! I like the way you have incorporated these seemingly incompatible words to form an interesting piece of writing. Keep it up. Ms Drapac

  2. Hi Jen,
We have just read your challenge within our Year 6 class. We really liked it. Well done for using all of the words that were needed. We particularly liked your description of the orange scented washing powder instead of just saying washing powder. However, some of my class thought it could have been improved by saying how things were done (i.e. using an adverb) such as carelessly knocked down… or completely drench….

Well done. Why don’t you have a look at our blog and comment on one of our challenges. http://www.y6pewithall.primaryblogger.co.uk

  3. Well done Jen, this week’s 100wc was challenging. Keep writing. To improve your work be sure to read through carefully.
